Joy.
Joy provides freelance services for theatrical, tv, film and live events in the surrounding states of Maryland, Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania. Joy is the founder of B-Listed Media Inc. a global platform that focuses on providing access to indie filmmakers to U.S. distribution channels. They are a 2021 fellow of the Halcyon Incubator for social entrepreneurs in Georgetown. B-Listed Media Inc. was recently appointed to The George Washington University's School of Business Advisory Council for the Digital Marketing program.

She has worked on many high profile events for actors, politicians and world leaders---from inaugural events and political tv ads to international film festivals and political conferences. She spent two seasons as a screenings theater manager for the Tribeca Film Festival and Hamptons Int'l Film Festival. One of her proudest moments was assistant casting hundreds of background actors in season 2 of Netflix's Mindhunter. Most recently, she assisted in the casting of the Netflix film "Rustin" a biopic produced by the Obamas Higher Ground Productions. Joy also serves as production manager for the USO's Global Entertainment.

Originally from Pittsburgh, she received her B.A in Media Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and Masters in Organizational Mgmt. from Point Park University. After college Joy worked as a production coordinator and developed a passion for the creative process within politics, live events and film/tv production. She spent four years working as a production assistant and project manager, learning the ins and outs of the industry before producing her first creative project. With 7 years under her belt, she is ready to partner with a company full-time, that will allow her to actualize her full creative capacity in developing creative content in film, tv, digital and live events.

In addition to her work in production, she has a love of writing and research---a natural storyteller at heart. In 2016 she was a Digital Content Fellow of Barack Obama's grassroots OFA organization in Chicago. In 2021 she was also a contributor in a published anthology called Dear Kamala: Women Write to the New Vice President.
